Actually I didn't read the map very well. Apparently you are supposed to click on those parts of the map to see where you vote if you live there. So it's my stupidity. Though I suppose other people's stupidity could have caused them voting problems. On to my other story idea it seems...

Hey Jenn, I'm doing okay. A lot of media elite are here, and I am a little overwhelmed at the moment. However, I'm just going to try to have fun with this and do the best I can. I'm also hoping to get a good spot, too. You look like you're all set, and that's great. I wish I was with you guys, but I'm doing alright at the moment. I'll keep in touch.

The BU Today Get out the Vote site has some interesting errors. It lists both 700 and 575 Commonwealth Ave. as voting sites. Both are student residences, which security guards said means they cannot serve as voting locations. Guards at both 700 and 575 Comm. Ave. insisted that they'd never heard of voting at their buildings, and suggested it would be illegal, or at least against the rules, for voting to take place there. Anyhow, here's the link to the faulty info: http://www.bu.edu/today/campus-life/2008/10/30/get-out-vote

Hope no one is disenfranchised by BU Today's not-so-helpful map. Also, the Cummington St. voting spot (computer services), which had a line of about 40 at 11 a.m., was not listed on the site's map.

P.S. Exit poll workers at Cummington St. took their job very seriously. At first refusing to speak about the day's events or the exit polling process, eventually the most vocal woman did manage to say that students coming out of the building were so excited that they were telling the pollsters how they voted without being asked. I don't suppose too many of them were shouting, "McCain!"

John Sununu Concedes to Jeanne Shaheen

John Sununu will no longer serve as New Hampshire's US Senator as he conceded moments ago to Democratic new-comer Jeanne Shaheen.

In the speech, Sununu thanked his family, his parents and his wife, saying that without them, he could not have run the race he did.

He also praised voters for coming out to vote today, saying that New Hampshire voters are some of the most educated in the country.

In the end, Sununu left his future plans unspoken, saying that he looks forward to spending more time… Continue

The attack ads focus on pointing out the differences between the two candidates. Shaheen claims Sununu has voted with the Bush Administration over 90% of the time . (You can find John Sununu's full record here.) W… Continue
